Scheepers-CCC offers a number of research-based, practical and high-quality workshops for mental health professionals who want to enhance their skills and further their professional development.

Coming soon: Competency-based Clinical Supervision Training Course The Competency-based Clinical Supervision Training course, a practical approach is a 40+ hour self-paced training for experienced counsellors, clinical cousellors and psychotherapists who want to become clinical supervisors. The course offers the most current supervision information which is directly relevant to counselling therapists practicing in Canada. Zoom meetings will be arranged at least once per month to discuss progress and to share activities. The course consists of six modules and address all aspects of supervision from roles to legal responsibilities, ethcial decision making, the facilitation of supervision groups, and more. Particular competencies will be given extra attention. These include being research based, the ethical use of assessments, knowledge of the current version of the DSM-5 and the major classes of psychiatric medication. Working with Trauma Working With Trauma: From Confusion to Clarity is a 6-hour course that consists of two 3-hour webinars on consecutive Fridays. It is meant for mental health professionals who want to know more about psychological injuries, assessments, and research-based trauma approaches.
